  • Most internships are designed for college juniors or seniors pursuing degrees in Marketing, Advertising, Sales, Communications, Advertising, IT, or related fields.

Potential Fall Opportunities:

Digital Media:

This team gives you a hands-on look at how it all comes together. As a Media Intern, you’ll gain exposure to both our Programmatic Media and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) teams, learning how digital media is planned, optimized, and executed across major platforms. This internship focuses on analyzing data and performance trends to uncover what drives campaign success. You won’t be designing creative assets, but your insights will help guide creative direction and ensure we’re continually optimizing for the strongest results.


Brkthru Marketing:

On this team, you’ll work alongside our internal marketing team to create high-impact campaigns that support both internal initiatives and client success. You’ll help design creative assets, develop sales and marketing materials, contribute to social media content, and even bring a little joy by updating our Barkthru.com pet profiles. This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, design, and marketing analytics to apply and grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Organizational Management:

This team offers the opportunity to join our Organizational Management team and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of people operations including Human Resources, Learning & Development, and Recruitment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to see how people, processes, and culture work together to drive our team’s success. You’ll take part in projects that strengthen the employee experience, support talent growth, and build scalable programs while learning what it takes to develop an organization that’s built to grow.


Client Services:

On this team, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting the execution and performance of digital advertising campaigns from start to finish. You’ll help ensure campaigns launch smoothly, creative assets are delivered accurately, and reporting reflects meaningful results. This internship offers a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to manage client partnerships in a collaborative, fast-moving environment, giving you valuable insight into how professional service organizations deliver value and build trust with clients.


Information Technology Team:

This internship offers a chance to see how that happens from the inside. As an IT Intern, you’ll support a variety of projects that keep our systems running efficiently and securely. You’ll help document key processes, assist with the rollout of new tools and contribute to projects that improve how our teams work across platforms. This internship is a great opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a professional setting while learning how IT supports a fast-paced, people-centered business. Tech team opportunities could also be centered around data analytics/pipelines or AI initiatives.


Business Development:

This team allows folks to gain hands-on experience supporting sales efforts that drive new opportunities for the company. You’ll help research potential clients, organize data in our CRM, and assist with outreach that builds Brkthru’s presence across key industries. This internship is a great opportunity for a student interested in digital advertising, sales strategy, and client development to learn how business growth happens in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Sales Development:

On this team, you’ll support sales strategy through research, data analysis, and pitch preparation. You’ll help research potential clients and industries, interpret media and audience insights, and organize information that supports outreach and sales conversations. This internship is a great fit for a student interested in digital advertising, media strategy, research, and sales development who wants to learn how data and storytelling support business growth.

Requirements:

We’re looking for curious, motivated students or those just starting their career in sales, IT, or digital advertising who are eager to learn about digital media, marketing, and sales. While specific requirements will depend on future internship opportunities, ideal candidates typically have:

  • Current enrollment in a college or university program (undergraduate or graduate)
  • A strong interest in your selected internship scope: digital media, marketing, advertising, sales, IT, or Organizational Management
