 Are you looking for a Human Resources internship where you'll gain real-world experience instead of just observing from the sidelines? Heartspring is seeking an organized, motivated HR Intern to join our Human Resources team and gain hands-on experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, compliance, and benefits. Working alongside our HR Director and Talent Acquisition team, you'll help create an outstanding employee experience while learning every stage of the employee lifecycle. 

  • Location: Wichita, KS
  • Schedule: Full-Time Paid Internship 
  • Hours: Onsite, Monday-Friday 8a-5p
  • Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
What You'll Do

As an HR Intern, you'll gain experience across multiple areas of Human Resources, including:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
  • Source and identify qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Assist with recruiting activities, candidate communication, interview coordination, and hiring events.
  • Support pre-employment and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and recruitment data.
Employee Engagement
  • Help coordinate employee appreciation events and engagement initiatives.
  • Assist employees with routine HR questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
  • Support internal communications that strengthen workplace culture.
HR Administration & Benefits
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with benefit administration and HR reporting.
  • Support payroll and HR processes as assigned.
Compliance & HR Operations
  • Assist with employment law compliance and HR documentation.
