As the first professional sports stadium in North America to achieve LEED Platinum Certification, the stadium reflects a commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Director, Finance and serve as the primary owner of all retail-related accounting activities across AMB Sports + Entertainment entities, including the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, NWSL Atlanta 2028 and Mercedes-Benz Stadium. • Reconcile retail revenue across POS, e-commerce, and settlements

  • Lead month-end close activities and reporting

  • Assist with audits, quarterly financial reporting packages, and local compliance requirements

  • Partner with retail operations and vendors on process improvements

  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, long range plans, and cash flow forecasts

  • Prepare capex business cases and manage capital budgets for stadium and store locations

  • Complete ad hoc analysis and finance projects as required

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required

  • Master's or MBA a plus

  • 5+ years of accounting experience

  • Retail or inventory experience required

  • Familiarity with sports retail, licensed product environments, multi-entities, or large-scale venue operations strongly preferred

  • Great Plains, Vena, and Yellowdog experience a plus

  • Hands-on experience implementing or managing retail technology or inventory management platforms strongly preferred

  • CPA preferred

Required Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and specifically inventory accounting and COGS knowledge

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to partner with operations and leadership

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven business decisions

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Advanced Excel skills
