Job description

We are looking for RNs, LPNs, CNAs or MAs that have a desire to work in a positive, encouraging, rural health care environment. This is a unique setting serving mainly the Amish community although not exclusively. An understanding of the culture is preferred.

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a growing faith-based rural health clinic. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise and compassionate approach to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.  We are seeking energetic professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives while learning and growing their nursing careers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine immediate needs.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and lab draws.
  • Utilize EMR to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Conduct occasional small clinic  procedures such a suture removal. 
  • Ensure all medical documentation is accurate and complete for legal compliance and quality assurance purposes.
  • Maintain infection control standards through proper specimen collection/processing, sterile processing practices, and adherence to CDC guidelines.

Experience

  • Proven clinical experience in hospital setting or relative clinic outpatient or  office setting. 
  • Experience working in diverse age groups is valued. 
  • Background in medical-surgical nursing is advantageous.
  • Skilled in performing invasive procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile dressing changes, aseptic technique applications, and laboratory specimen handling.
  • Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
