As a Senior Portfolio Administrator within PNC's Institutional Asset Management organization, you will be based in Washington, DC.
In this role, you will provide operational, investment, and sales support to professionals serving nonprofit organizations, corporations, retirement plans, insurance entities, and other institutional clients. This role plays a key part in delivering consistent, high-quality client experience and supporting both portfolio management and business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Investment & Reporting Support:
• Prepare client reports, portfolio reviews, and presentation materials with accurate performance and analytics data
• Support portfolio rebalances, trade preparation, and modeling activities
• Maintain accurate client account information across internal systems
• Aggregate daily financial data and monitor cash transactions and intraday flows
• Research and respond to client inquiries in a timely, accurate manner
Sales & Client Support:
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales Leaders to support client relationships and new business efforts
• Assist with preparation of proposals, pitch materials, and client meeting deliverables
• Support RFP/RFI responses by coordinating data and ensuring accuracy of submissions
• Maintain CRM (Salesforce) updates for client activity, pipeline tracking, and opportunities
• Coordinate client meeting logistics and follow-up actions
• Support internal sales reporting and pipeline visibility
Systems & Process Management:
• Develop expertise in IAM systems including Salesforce, Seismic, Co-Pilot (our proprietary trust platform), FactSet, Tableau, and others
• Ensure data integrity and process consistency across workflows

  • Responsible for the proper and consistent execution of account administration of PNC Private Bank Investment Management, IRA, and other Non-Trust Accounts in compliance with legal and fiduciary regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Performs the administration of assigned accounts in accordance with governing documents, state law, and AMG policy and procedure. Completes administrative account reviews and activities and resolves routine issues with increasing complexity.
  • Utilizes the full breadth of the PNC Private Bank systems to support the investment management of a portfolio of accounts with relatively low complexity and fiduciary risk.
  • Depending on business segment, may also engage in investment support and administrative activities for the investment management business.
  • Collaborates with internal partners to solve problems, and escalate anticipated or known account / client issues and concerns.
  • Participates, as needed, in upcoming technology or product design, development, and testing using operational flow and product knowledge to identify and document defects as well as suggest enhancements.
