The mission of this role is to support the company's strategic production objectives by ensuring effective production planning, inventory management, and supply-demand alignment. Excellent organizational skills, abilities to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities to balance short-term priorities and exceptional information analysis skills are a necessity. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand.



What you’ll do:

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, emerging markets, and untapped customer segments to expand Promat’s MTD footprint.
  • Comply with all Etex Group Health and Safety policies and inform management of unsafe conditions.
  • Develop and monitors schedules for products and commodities to meet external and internal customer demand.
  • Use MRP and shop floor scheduling modules to schedule work orders.
  • Coordinate all phases of production to ensure a quality product is produced based on order receipt and stock level requirements.
  • Answer termination, cancellation, or reschedule requests from Sales.
  • Receive and review Sales Orders against current requirements and work in process using the Material Requirement Planning Report.
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities; assure all components are available, make necessary changes in the event of a breakdown in component delivery; resolve production schedules and problems.
  • Complete production plan by assigning personnel; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow.
  • Perform numerous administrative and computer tasks; analyses work output; prepares reports and documentation.
  • Develop Level Load balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and factory utilization targets are achieved while improving operational flow of WIP and Raw Materials through the Etex Supply Chain.
  • Analyze and manage MRP, source list, material master/parameters; Revise essential system planning data to ensure SAP is effectively planning future requirements.
  • Proactively report product and material availability issues to management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with Supply Chain Buyer to ensure material delivery and receipt to support optimized production plan.
  • Support Manager with supplier KPIs, analyzing data related to compliance, and making recommendations on priorities for process improvement.
  • Resolve inventory shortages, surpluses and damage; Assists with physical inventories and cycle counting.
  • Lead raw material purchasing buying goods that support the company's daily operations and finished goods.
  • Complete special projects, assignments, and duties as assigned.


What you’ll bring:

  1. 5+ years of experience in a buyer/planner/material scheduler role working for a direct manufacturer (required) with a global supply chain.
  2. Strong applied knowledge of forecasting, MRP, transportation, supply chain, inventory management and warehousing disciplines.
  3. SAP PP/APO system experience (preferred).
  4. SAP ARIBA experience (preferred).
  5. Proficient with MS Office, intermediate to advanced Excel skills (Access skills a plus).
  6. BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business
  7. Effectively interact cross-functionally with all internal departments and Etex Group factories.
  8. Communicates in clear, concise manner & manages conflict effectively.
  9. Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills; ability to translate mathematical information into actionable items and concise, easy-to-consumer reports.
  10. Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  11. Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously and be prepared to take initiative and ownership (high degree of self-accountability) while not being afraid to fail.
  12. Able to self-direct and take constructive action (analytically with a methodical approach to problem solving) in ambiguous situations making the best decision for the customer and Etex.
