Bartender Job Description:
The Bartender is responsible for crafting classic and creative spirits and other beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. Creativity, knowledge of spirits and an unwavering commitment of providing excellent service is what creates success as a Bartender at The Old Spaghetti Factory. Our Bartender's continue reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks.
What You Will Do:
  • Create a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages with precision, using high-quality ingredients, and both modern and classic techniques.
  • Continually innovate and introduce new and exciting drink creations.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by providing warm welcomes, maintaining high standards of service and engaging with guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Offer recommendations and suggestions based on their tastes, ensuring a personalized and enjoyable experience.
  • Efficiently and accurately take and prepare drink orders quickly with attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all orders are prepared in compliance with company standards and specific customer requests.
  • Demonstrate an extensive understanding of classic and contemporary mixology with various spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients.
  • Follow and maintain proper standards of sanitation, safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Process customer payments accurately, handle cash responsibly, and maintain a secure cash register.

About You:
  • 1-2 years of prior Bartender experience demonstrating proficiency in a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
  • Knowledge and understanding of various spirits, ingredients, and techniques.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to engage and interact with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail, prioritizing tasks, and delivering excellent service.
  • Able to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach throughout shift.
  • Able to lift 35lbs without assistance
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Team player, personable and friendly attitude.
  • A plus but not required if you have relevant certifications, such as SERV Safe, Alcohol, TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or equivalent.
