Job description

Note: ZipRecruiter's "estimated pay" listing is inaccurate for this position. We will discuss pay during the first interview.
Title: Maintenance Mechanic Manager
Division: Manufacturing/Operations
Type of Position: Full-time with health benefits, vacation, paid time off, and company matching 401k.
Are You the Maintenance Manager We're Searching For?

1. Do you have so much mechanical skill that it's falling out of your pockets?!

2. Are you sick of working for huge, uninspired companies where you feel like you are a cog in a wheel or a number in their system?

3. Would you rather be part of a smaller company where you are actually treated like family?

4. Do you like to solve complex machine problems?

If you answer "no" to any of the above, please reconsider applying. Our team seats are limited, and we're on the hunt for our next standout member.

Why We Do What We Do:
We create foam products that allow people to live a better life.

A Bit About Us:

  • Our mission is simple: We exist to glorify God and serve our customers.
  • We're a proud family-owned company that's been going strong for 78 years.
  • We create custom foam products for companies large and small.
  • We have a positive, hardworking culture! (imagine Chick-fil-A, but without chicken in a manufacturing environment)

What Sets Us Apart:

  • First shift, Monday to Friday schedule. No evenings.
  • We pride ourselves on our drama-free zone. We have a "No Gossip Policy." Debbie Downer and Negative Nancy don't work here.
  • Our workplace is pristine: This isn't the typical factory environment. We keep our factory floor clean, our breakroom sparkling, and our restrooms spotless. We also just installed windows in our factory so the outside light shines in. Life is too short to work in a dirty environment.
  • Led by a hands-on family ownership team, we shun red tape and bureaucracy. Efficiency is our jam.

What You'll Dive Into:

  • You will dive deep into CNC and non-CNC equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Act as our in-house detective, spotting and diagnosing machinery issues.
  • Keep our equipment in ship-shape and ready for action.
  • Collaborate with vendors to enhance machinery and spearhead software enhancements.
  • Prioritize safety and ensure we always adhere to industry standards.
  • Team up with in-house colleagues and external experts for any major repair undertakings.
