TITLE: Warehouse Loader (Nights)
DIVISION: Warehouse
REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor
FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt/Hourly

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Warehouse Loader plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations by safely and efficiently loading products onto trucks for delivery. This position requires the ability to operate warehouse equipment, utilize RF scanners, and work with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and organize tasks effectively, and flexible to work overtime as needed.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, order picker) safely and efficiently.
  • Use RF to locate, verify, and load products accurately.
  • Load trucks with outgoing products in the correct order and secure loads to prevent damage.
  • Verify product quantities and ensure accuracy before loading.
  • Prioritize and organize tasks to meet tight schedules and delivery deadlines.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Must be able to operate multiple types of warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to use RF scanners.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to self-manage daily workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in cold/freezer environments (gear provided).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior warehouse or loading experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.

SCHEDULE:

  • 3pm- Finished
  • Schedule subject to change based on business needs. Must be flexible and open to overtime.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures (including freezer conditions). Noise levels can be moderate to high due to equipment and truck traffic. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move products regularly.
