Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor with CNC machining experience who still enjoys being on the tools?

We're hiring a Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to lead a small team of 2 Maintenance Mechanics while staying close to the equipment. You'll own uptime, drive preventative maintenance, and act as the link between Engineering and Production in a fast-paced machining and assembly environment.

Ready to take control of a shop where maintenance actually matters?

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support 2 Maintenance Mechanics across daily operations
  • Stay hands-on with CNC machines, assembly equipment, and production tooling
  • Own preventative maintenance systems, scheduling, and spare parts control
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical faults across production equipment
  • Work closely with Engineering on process improvements and equipment upgrades
  • Support new equipment launches, installation, and handover into production
  • Create and maintain maintenance procedures and work instructions
  • Drive root cause analysis on breakdowns and recurring issues
  • Support ISO 9001 standards and internal audits

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering
  • Strong mechanical background within CNC machining or high-speed manufacturing
  • Hands-on fault finding across mechanical systems and basic electrical components
  • Experience managing or leading maintenance teams (small team environment)
  • Preventative maintenance systems experience (CMMS or similar)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
