Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC) is a not-for-profit venue management company in Fort Worth, Texas. TDMC manages all aspects of venue management, including but not limited to event booking, event management, marketing, IT, technical services, food & beverage, parking, security, housekeeping, changeover, maintenance, and more. TDMC manages several venues in Fort Worth, TX.

Job Summary:

Trail Drive Management Corp. (TDMC) is looking for a Facilities Technician II to support our Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC) operation. The Facilities Technician II performs skilled maintenance, installation, and fabrication tasks in the assigned trades (Electrician, Plumbers, HVAC, Construction, Carpenters, Plumbing and Irrigation). Provides technical support to assigned supervisory personnel.

This position will be 100% on-site.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop work plans and schedules to provide services in an assigned trades area.
  • Employs safe work practices and follows safety guidelines established by Gendy Street Management.
  • Maintains appropriate records, writes reports, and prepares correspondence as assigned.
  • Establishes and follows a preventative maintenance schedule for equipment in assigned area of responsibility.
  • Inspects and cleans tools after use.
  • Orders and maintains supplies according to established City and departmental procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Minimum high school graduate or GED required.
  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years of verifiable assigned trade skills and capabilities.
  • Preferred to have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial facility maintenance.
  • A trade school graduate with specialized training in trade skills and/or a building-related field,?which could include HVAC, Electrical, or equivalent work experience.
  • Other engineering or maintenance certifications are desirable, i.e., ASE Certifications, HVAC, Refrigeration, or Plumbing
  • Experience and/or training in the public assembly facility management industry preferred.
  • Knowledgeable with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, safety precautions, and emergency procedures related to facility management preferred.
  • Must have a state of Texas motor vehicle license.
  • Keyboarding skills and computer proficiency with software knowledge including MS Office preferred.
  • Experience in operating a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Provide Superior customer service experience.
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees will work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.
  • Employees must have the ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. As business, maintenance, operations, or emergencies require, employees may sporadically assist in lift/move 100 lbs. or more.
  • Employees will regularly work around animals typically found in a fair/4H/FFA environment (horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, dogs, etc.).
  • Employees will regularly spend their shift standing/walking, traveling stairs, with limited to no sitting.
  • Employees may spend some of their day working on a computer and other office devices.
  • Employees will be exposed to high noise levels and/or fluctuating lights in event settings.
  • Employees must have the ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazardous chemicals, electrical shock risks, and vibrations throughout the shift.
  • Employees may be exposed to hazards associated with moving vehicles and require strict adherence to safety protocols.
