Social Media Manager

Broccoli AI

San Francisco, CA • On-site

$90K - $110K/yr

Full-time

Job description

About Broccoli
At Broccoli, we're building AI teammates for the people who build and maintain our world.
We partner with plumbing, HVAC, and electrical contractors, the hardworking businesses that keep homes and communities running, and replace fragmented software and repetitive manual work with AI that actually gets the job done.
Our AI teammates answer phones, book appointments, follow up with customers, recover missed revenue, and help contractors deliver exceptional customer experiences, all while integrating seamlessly with platforms like ServiceTitan.
Before we wrote a single line of code, we visited more than 140 contractors to understand how these businesses truly operate. That firsthand experience shaped everything we've built.
Today:
  • Hundreds of contractors rely on Broccoli every day.
  • We've grown to $15M+ ARR in under two years.
  • We're trusted by everyone from independent contractors to some of the largest private equity backed operators in the home services industry.
  • We're backed by Khosla Ventures and Y Combinator.

We're still just getting started.
The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own our social presence end to end - TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and wherever else our audience is. This isn't a role focused on crafting every piece of copy from scratch; it's about managing distribution, driving engagement, and making sure our channels are consistently active, responsive, and growing.
As the primary voice engaging our community (comments, DMs, and beyond), you'll build genuine rapport with our followers and help cultivate our influencer and trades community.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role rather than a high-level strategic one. You'll work closely with our marketing and media teams to bring content to our channels, track analytics to see what's resonating, and recommend improvements along the way.
What you'll own
  • Manage and publish content across TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all channels
  • Build rapport and foster genuine engagement with our audience and community
  • Grow Broccoli Trades Collective from ~90 members toward a target of 9,000
  • Help cultivate our broader influencer and trades community, with a particular focus on Facebook
  • Track analytics across channels and recommend improvements to grow reach and engagement
  • Coordinate with whoever's supporting video, design, and marketing efforts to source and schedule content
  • Handle the administrative and logistical work of keeping channels running smoothly day to day

Who we're looking for
  • 3+ years of experience in social media management or community management
  • Well versed across TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook - comfortable as a platform generalist
  • Strong written communication skills, especially for engaging authentically in comments and DMs
  • Experience growing a community or audience from a small base, ideally in a startup, agency, or small-brand environment
  • Comfortable with the administrative and coordination side of the job - working across teams to get content live
  • Basic analytics fluency (native platform insights) and a habit of using data to guide recommendations
  • A practical, hands-on operator mindset - someone who enjoys running the day-to-day rather than just setting strategy
  • Someone excited to work in-office five days a week, collaborating closely with the team

Broccoli is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws. We celebrate diverse perspectives and believe great teams are built by people with different backgrounds, experiences, and ideas.
