Job description

Salary:

C.A. Hull is seeking a Structural Fabricator for our shop, located in Commerce Township, MI.

Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background checks are required.

Structural Fabricator duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
  • Follow blueprints to layout, fit, and weld components to meet product specifications
  • Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
  • Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
  • Assemble products as needed after paint
  • Must be an AWS D1.1 certified welder
  • Experience operating a forklift and overhead cranes a plus
  • Working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Working at heights with the use of mobile equipment and ladders
  • Working safely near noisy operations
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 25 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs
