Job Responsibilities

As a Shop Helper, your role is vital to maintaining efficient production and safe operations in the rebar fabrication shop. Responsibilities include:

· Assisting in the fabrication, cutting, bending, and loading of rebar materials.

· Operating hand tools, machines, and equipment accurately, efficiently, and safely.

· Measuring and inspecting rebar using a tape measure for accuracy.

· Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

· Following all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE (safety vest, gloves, steel-toe boots, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, etc.).

· Supporting team members and assisting in various tasks as directed by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

· Must be able to stand, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

· Must be able to work in an industrial environment exposed to heat, noise, and dust.

Key Skills & Requirements

· Ability to read numbers and use a tape measure accurately.

· Must be flexible and willing to learn all positions within the rebar shop.

· Demonstrate teamwork, dependability, and a strong work ethic.

· Must follow all company safety rules and procedures.
