Fabrication Supervisor
Location: Jefferson, Iowa | On-Site

A well-established manufacturing and fabrication company in the Jefferson, Iowa area is seeking a dependable, hands-on Fabrication Supervisor to help lead day-to-day operations within its fabrication department.
This individual will oversee production flow, support fabrication employees, help maintain safety and quality standards, and work closely with plant leadership to keep projects and materials moving efficiently throughout the shop.

What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee and coordinate daily fabrication department workflow and production schedules
- Help manage priorities and workload across fabrication workstations
- Coordinate production needs and communication with 2nd shift fabrication employees as needed
- Support and maintain fabrication quality standards and measurements
- Partner with plant leadership to reinforce shop safety procedures and expectations
- Assist with employee coaching, training, development, and performance feedback
- Help identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency
- Coordinate with purchasing and inventory personnel to support material availability and production timelines
- Facilitate communication and coordination across shop teams and departments
- Help maintain organization, productivity, and accountability throughout the fabrication department
- Support inventory coordination and material flow throughout fabrication operations
- Assist wherever needed to help keep projects and production moving forward
What They're Looking For
- Previous fabrication, manufacturing, or shop supervision experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Experience working around structural steel, fabrication equipment, welding operations, or industrial manufacturing environments is highly preferred
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and assist with heavier materials when needed
- Work performed in a manufacturing/shop environment around moving equipment and machinery
- Moderate noise levels and physically active work environment
Schedule
- Full-Time | Primarily Day Shift
- Additional schedule flexibility may occasionally be needed to support production and second shift coordination
- This is a fully on-site role; remote work is not available
