Fabric Finishing / Industrial Sewing Technician

Altitude Color Technologies – Las Vegas, NV

Altitude Color Technologies is a leading large-format digital printing company specializing in SEG fabric graphics, banners, mesh, and trade-show displays for major events, exhibits, and installations across the United States.

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Finishing / Industrial Sewing Technician with hands-on experience in SEG graphics, banner finishing, mesh finishing, and large-format textile sewing. This role is responsible for producing high-quality finished graphics used in trade shows, events, retail environments, and architectural installations.

This is a fast-paced production environment where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship matter.

Position Overview

The Fabric Finishing Technician will operate industrial sewing and finishing equipment to complete large-format printed graphics including SEG fabric, banners, mesh, and textile displays. The position requires strong knowledge of keder sewing, heat welding, hem construction, and large-format material handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sew SEG fabric graphics with silicone edge (keder bead)
  • Perform keder bead sewing for SEG frames and lightboxes
  • Finish largeformat banners and mesh graphics
  • Perform industrial sewing using Cronos or similar machines
  • Sew hems, pole pockets, and reinforced edges
  • Heat weld banners and mesh when required
  • Install grommets and reinforcement webbing
  • Trim, square, and prepare graphics for finishing
  • Read production work orders and finishing specifications
  • Ensure proper alignment and accuracy on finished graphics
  • Work with large printed materials (often 1050+ feet wide)
  • Maintain high quality standards for trade show and event graphics
  • Work collaboratively with print operators and production teams
  • Assist with packaging and preparing finished graphics for shipment
  • Required Experience
  • 2+ years industrial sewing experience
  • Experience sewing largeformat printed graphics
  • Experience with SEG fabric finishing and keder bead installation
  • Experience with banner and mesh finishing
  • Experience using industrial sewing machines (Cronos or similar)
  • Experience with heat welding banners
  • Experience installing grommets, webbing, and reinforcement
  • Ability to work with large soft signage materials
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience in large format printing or sign industry
  • Experience with trade show graphics / SEG lightbox systems
  • Familiarity with fabric tension systems and aluminum frames
  • Experience using Zund, Colex, or large format cutting tables
  • Experience working in highvolume print production environments
