Job description

Via Seatingis hiringa Fabric Cutting Associate on our First Shift to join our team in Sparks, NV!!

FabricCutting Associates operate and tend cutting tables in order to perform cutting operations on upholstery for office chairs. This includes learning all model names and numbers, being able to physically identify cloth, vinyl or leather, and understanding stretch and roll orientations of upholstery. Fabric Cutting Associates also properly change out blades, punches and pens on cutting tables. Based on business demand, Fabric Cutting Associates will assist in other areas of the production department as needed.

All Fabric Cutting Associates will be classified and evaluated according to the Tier system based on the skills included in this description.

The Fabric Cutting Associate position is not a safety sensitive position.

All First Shift positions work from 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday with overtime scheduled on Fridays and/or Saturdays as needed.

Pay Starts at $20.00/hour, possibly more DOE!
