The Role:
As we grow, we are building manufacturing facilities and quantum datacenters around the globe. We are looking for several Senior Systems and Network Engineers to support the deployment, integration, and operation of our networking and infrastructure systems, enabling cutting-edge research, distributed engineering, and delivery of the world's best quantum computers to our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure network solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, collaborating with engineers and research staff as needed
  • Support the deployment and operation of highly available and resilient international network environments
  • Oversee and optimize network performance, capacity planning, and reliability
  • Design and enforce network security strategies (firewalls, segmentation, zero trust, VPNs)
  • Drive network modernization initiatives including cloud networking and automation
  • Create and maintain detailed network diagrams, standards, and documentation
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and vendors
  • Lead and participate in major incident response and root cause analysis
  • Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security policies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of progressive network engineering experience
  • Experience working with network designs and implementing them in production environments, combined with a strong hands-on mindset Experience working with network designs and implementing them in production environments, combined with a strong hands-on mindset
  • Deep experience with firewall and security platforms (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, etc.)
  • Proven experience designing and supporting high-availability and disaster recovery solutions

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP) and hybrid environments
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, and zero-trust architectures
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Familiarity with load balancing technologies (F5, Netscaler, etc.)
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-site environments
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows and automation

The approximate base salary range for this position is $110,336 - $144,459. The total compensation package includes base, bonus, equity, and a range of benefit options found on our career site.
Compensation will vary based on individual factors such as education, qualifications, and experience of the final candidate(s), specific office location, and calibration against relevant market data and internal team equity. Posted base salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
