Job description

As a Sr. Java Developer, you'll be working on the technical aspects of a project in a modern Java ecosystem. You will have the freedom to work with a variety of supporting web frameworks, as well as the opportunity to leverage your experience to educate others. We are looking for people who are motivated, fun, and ready to collaborate with other talented developers in building awesome applications. You'll need to be a natural troubleshooter who is tenacious when it comes to solving problems and an excellent communicator when it comes to working within a team environment. You should know how to work smartintegrating AI tools into your daily workflow to optimize your development process, brainstorm solutions, and accelerate delivery.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of work experience as a Java Software Developer
  • 5+ years of project experience working with Spring Boot and JavaScript frameworks (i.e. Angular and React)
  • A pragmatic approach to daily AI utilization (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to optimize your development workflow, speed up documentation, or troubleshoot complex issues.
  • The ability to tackle complex problems
  • Solid understanding of SQL / database querying techniques
  • Source control management (i.e. Git)
