Summary

Inventory Associate 1

The Inventory Associate 1 supports the Inventory department with all the materials related functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Receive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers.
  • Identify and stock materials, with the Haas part number and according to established procedures.
  • Issue materials to production work centers and fill out paperwork accordingly.
  • Process basic inventory transactions on the computer.
  • Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility.
  • Expedite parts so that production does not stop.
  • Maintain forklift maintenance & upkeep.
  • Maintain aisles and housekeeping within the warehouse and or production lines.
  • Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
  • Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.

• Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.

• Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be self-motivated person, who is committed to doing the best then can each day.
  • Needs to be detailed oriented and provide the highest level of service to his customers.
  • Must be able to prioritize assignments throughout the day and be able to work several issues at a time.
  • Previous forklift experience & license required. Position is also depended on passing Haas forklift certification test.
  • Basic knowledge of Inventory control methods, i.e., cycle counting, FIFO & location audits.

Education

High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required, plus an additional one to three months related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
