Overview

Open to Internal/External candidates. Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Support Specialist, supporting TOS II, at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The Procurement Support Specialist will work as a member of an integrated team responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.

Job Summary

 

The Procurement Support Specialist reports directly to the NRTF Office Manager to execute mission-critical supply chain workflows and coordinate procurement process milestones. This role serves as the central point of contact for ordering lifecycle management, executing end-to-end purchasing operations, and resolving vendor discrepancies to prevent project delays. The successful candidate will independently prepare, review, and submit high-volume purchase orders for materials, technical equipment, and contracted services required to sustain continuous operations at the National Radar Test Facility (NRTF)

Job Duties:

  • Monitor procurement timelines from initial request through final delivery.
  • Order Execution: Generate, review, and submit accurate purchase orders for operational materials. Vendor
  • Management: Coordinate directly with suppliers to expedite orders and resolve fulfillment issues.
  • Compliance Checks: Ensure all purchasing activities align with NRTF internal fiscal policies.
  • Record Keeping
  • Maintain detailed digital logs of requisitions, invoices, and receipts.
  • Reviews material requisitions including technical specifications with respect to quality requirements, working closely with Acquisitions and Engineering.
  • Manage and perform material receipt inspections and document results.
  • Manage and process nonconforming material received from vendors/suppliers to include disposition.
  • Develop metrics for key processes that can be used to manage and improve performance.
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance of Technical Receiving Inspection Reporting process.
  • Support the development and improvement of processes, procedures, methodologies and systems that support enterprise health reporting.
  • It is the condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in business administration, finance, project management, or accounting from a four-year accredited university
  • In lieu of bachelor’s degree, Military Service or associate’s degree with 2 years of procurement experience
  • Current US Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and access to the local WSRM network

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 Years of experience within acquisitions, supply chain or a procurement related function, PMP certification, Security clearance
