Pre-Op/PACU RN (Full-Time)
Connecticut Eye Surgery Center South, Milford, CT
The position is full-time, 36 plus hours/week, Monday - Friday. The individual will need to work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities including, but not limited to, preparation of patients for procedures, administration of eye drops, IV placement, post-anesthesia recovery, pain management and patient education.
Requirements:
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in nursing assessment and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, and have a current license in the state of Connecticut to practice as a registered nurse. Candidate must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, and an excellent communicator; be able to prioritize multiple tasks; and have strong decision-making skills. Ophthalmology experience preferred, but not required. BLS and ACLS certification should be current.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
