They are trained to examine, diagnose, and treat a variety of eye conditions and vision problems. Eye Q clinics generally offer services such as eye exams, prescription glasses and contact lenses, and surgical procedures like LASIK. Their goal is to help patients maintain healthy vision and address any issues related to eye health. Eye Care Technicians often encounter challenges such as managing a high volume of patients while ensuring accuracy in preliminary tests like visual acuity and intraocular pressure measurements. Additionally, effective communication with both patients and ophthalmologists is essential to maintain workflow and ensure the best patient outcomes. Teamwork and continuing education are key to overcoming these challenges and advancing in the field.
