Job Description
Position Summary:
The Team Maintenance Lead directs shift activities to ensure shift Technicians effectively support production by minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining production equipment in safe and reliable condition. These efforts will require technical know-how, strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey status, highlight issues, and ensure smooth transition between shifts.
Pay: $39.45
Shift: Night
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works with all areas Production leadership allocate maintenance to priority issues. Attends area Focus 5 meetings
for their shift and communicates all issues to the Maintenance Technicians.
• Coordinates shift activities providing guidance throughout the shift concerning equipment priorities.
• Monitors Technician performance and provides coaching feedback to recognize good work and foster performance
improvement.
• Ensures that environmental and safety rules are followed by Technicians.
• Communicates with Management concerning maintenance priorities, escalations and shift responsibilities.
• Works with other areas TMLs to reallocate maintenance from area to area as need to support plant priorities.
• Ensures Technicians use standard work documents (job plans, check lists, troubleshooting guides, SOPs, OEM
Manuals etc.)
• Monitors and coaches proper troubleshooting protocols (using history, source documents, and tools).
• Coordinates with the Production shift leaders to review the daily maintenance priorities.
• Ensures Technicians create and maintain all repair documentation to include: Maintenance logs, SAP work orders
and notifications and RCAs.
• Audits Technician work orders for accuracy and completeness and coaches Technicians as needed
• Allocates shift Technicians to complete backlog maintenance orders, preventive maintenance, shop
maintenance and organization and any required training.
• Attends Area Focus 5 meetings for their shift and communicates all issues to shift Craftsmen
• Demonstrated safety commitment.
• Experience in industrial electronics which would include troubleshooting and calibration on electronic
instruments, DC and AC drives, temperature controllers, PLCs etc. Experience with Allen Bradley and
Siemens PLCs preferred.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance which would include fluid power, gas train, pneumatic air system,
steam system.
• Proficient in Process and Instrumentation diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical layout and design.
• Work alongside the other shift Technicians to complete backlog maintenance orders, preventive
maintenance, shop maintenance and an required training.
• Will serve as member of the Fire Brigade:
o Support for alarms or calls
o Participates in required training.
o Fire Brigade activities are limited to the incipient stage of fire.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
• Associates Degree in one of the following fields:
o Mechatronics
o Electronics Engineering Technology
o Industrial Electronics
o Mechanical Engineering Technology
• Relevant military training or work experience may be considered in lieu of a technical degree.
Requirements:
• 2 - 5 years industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment in a leadership role.
• Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Computer aptitude, to include proficiency in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Management.
• AutoCAD knowledge preferred.
• SAP PM experience preferred.
