Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Monitor and control the process, and product, to prevent non-conformance.
  • Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMP's, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
  • Troubleshoots to resolve problems.
  • Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work-in-process and/or finished product.
  • Responsible for accurate documentation of process conditions.
  • Maintains computer inventory.
  • Machine maintenance.
  • Lead and directs crew. Develops crew's skills and provides training.
  • Sets next crew up for success and effectively and efficiently communicates at shift change to Operators and Supervisors.
  • Verify measuring and test instruments calibration through records and control charts prior to use.
  • Ensure conformance to winder quality audit sheet.
  • Set up and clean up machine.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Nine to twelve months related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
