Job description

Essential Job Functions

  • Oversee all regional operations, including truckload, drayage, and local pickup & delivery (P&D)
  • Own full regional P&L, including revenue, cost control, and margin performance
  • Drive operational execution to meet or exceed service KPIs (on-time performance, utilization, safety, etc.)
  • Partner with Sales to support growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and customer onboarding
  • Develop and execute regional capacity plans, including company drivers, owner-operators, and vendor partners
  • Ensure proper staffing, training, and performance management across all stations within the region
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and support issue resolution and escalations as needed
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures, compliance, and safety standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize network performance
  • Provide regular performance reporting and lead monthly reviews on financial and operational results

    Other Skills and Qualifications

    • 7+ years of transportation/logistics operations experience, with multi-site leadership preferred.
    • Strong understanding of truckload, drayage, and local P&D operations.
    • Proven experience managing P&L and driving margin improvement.
    • Ability to lead teams across multiple locations and develop operational leaders.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Customer Operations.
    • Proficiency in TMS systems and operational reporting tools.

          California required disclosure: Salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 - 110,000 annually.
