ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

KHAITE is looking for anย Operations Managerย to join our team for our new store opening in Bal Harbour.ย 

The Operations Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving operational excellence across all facets of the business, ensuring the seamless execution of store operations while upholding the elevated service standards of a luxury retail environment. This role oversees inventory integrity, omni-channel fulfillment, and cross-functional alignment, while developing and inspiring the store team to deliver an exceptional and highly efficient client experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Omni-Channel Fulfillment

  • Oversee the timely and precise execution of all omni-channel orders, in your store and across the network, ensuring adherence to established cut-offs, brand presentation standards, and packaging guidelines
  • Monitor order flow and performance, proactively identifying risks, resolving discrepancies, and implementing solutions to mitigate delays
  • Partner closely with Store Leadership and Client Advisors to prioritize high-value and time-sensitive client requests, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience
  • Drive accountability within the operations team to consistently meet and exceed fulfillment SLAs

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Lead the organization and maintenance of the stockroom to the highest luxury standards, ensuring an environment optimized for efficiency, accuracy, and selling support
  • Oversee shipment processing, ensuring operational excellence in receiving, unpacking, ticketing, and merchandising organization
  • Direct and execute all transfer activity with precision and urgency, ensuring timelines are met and inter-store communication is seamless
  • Own inventory accuracy through cycle counts, strong stock control discipline, and prompt resolution of discrepancies
  • Establish and uphold best-in-class inventory practices that support both operational efficiency and loss prevention
  • Oversee Stock Repairs & Alterations, ensuring strict adherence to protocols and timely execution
  • Lead the preparation and execution of Physical Inventory in alignment with company protocols and calendar, ensuring a precise count and comprehensive reconciliation process

Client & Service Excellence

  • Champion a seamless partnership between sales and operations, ensuring back-of-house excellence consistently supports an elevated, client-centric experience
  • Support with merchandise preparation for appointments, activations, and events, ensuring impeccable presentation and readiness
  • Lead the intake and processing of client consignments with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and timely closure, monitoring them regularly
  • Ensure a best-in-class Client Repair and Aftersales experience through adherence to protocols and proactive communication
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational processes that elevate the overall client journey
  • Support the sales leadership team as needed with running the sales floor

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor and drive full compliance with all operational policies, procedures, and brand standards through consistent coaching and accountability with the store team
  • Act as an expert on the Point of Sale to support the team with any challenges or questions and protect the client experience and order accuracy
  • Lead and regularly conduct comprehensive Store Maintenance walk-throughs, ensuring the space consistently reflects brand standards; Proactively identify and address maintenance needs while coordinating timely communication and resolution with internal partners and external vendors
  • Lead execution of Visual Merchandising floorsets from an operational perspective, ensuring product readiness and accuracy
  • Champion loss prevention initiatives through rigorous inventory control, policy adherence, and team awareness
  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational readiness and a consistently elevated environment
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and team productivity

Leadership & Development

  • Lead, inspire, and develop the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, precision, and operational excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of operations team management, including hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development to ensure a high-performing and engaged team
  • Conduct regular touch bases and performance conversations, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and coaching to drive individual and team growth
  • Own the scheduling and allocation of the operations team, ensuring optimal coverage aligned with business needs, shipment cadence, and peak selling periods
  • Establish clear priorities and workflows, empowering the team to execute with efficiency and consistency
  • Identify development opportunities and implement training plans to elevate skillsets across inventory management, fulfillment, and operational standards

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between store leadership, corporate partners, and cross-functional teams, ensuring clear, timely, and professional communication
  • Drive alignment between sales and operations teams on inventory availability, order status, and client needs
  • Provide consistent and strategic updates on operational performance, risks, and priorities
  • Serve as a role model for operational excellence, demonstrating strong leadership presence and a commitment to continuous improvement
