Job description

A reputable specialty and mail order pharmacy seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a dynamic environment handling high-volume prescriptions with a focus on accuracy and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent pharmacy technician experience and be licensed in Indiana.
Location: Greenwood, IN
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 2nd shift: 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm (candidates will start on 1st shift, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, before transitioning to the evening shift)
  • Possible weekends
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately prepare, package, and dispense medications in a specialty and mail order setting
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and legal requirements
  • Manage high-volume prescription orders efficiently
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare teams to ensure patient safety
  • Support day-to-day pharmacy operations during shift changes and training
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
