This position is for a logistics team member who has a Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement. Responsibilities include but not limited to: driving explosive and non-explosive material to/from storage areas and production facility which includes offsite locations within Huntsville, performing and documenting prior to use inspections on vehicles, trailers, equipment, forklifts, compliant load security on transport vehicles, loading and unloading of trucks and trailers, understanding explosive storage requirements within Earth Covered Magazines, operating warehouse and Combilift style forklifts, blocking and bracing, documenting driver logs, and similar tasks.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform accountability movements and confirming transfer orders within SAP/PRISM.

  • Operation of Hyster warehouse and CombiLift style forklifts.

  • Comply with written instructions pertaining to safety, load security, DOT inspections, storage of explosives, and prior to use inspections.

  • Prepare explosive and non-explosive material for demilitarization, disposal, and shipment compliant with governing regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Exercise physical security and explosive safety risk mitigation measures.

  • Provide timely and proper Ammunition, Arms, and Explosive's logistics services which include receipt, transport, storage, and inventory accountability.

  • Assists in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of employees

  • Operate hoists/cranes, pneumatic, and manual tools.

  • Perform material validation of hardware container labels to shipping documents, bill of lading, Prism generated transfer orders, packing slips, delivery travelers.

  • Have and maintain a CDL Medical Card (Medical Examiners Certificate).

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.

  • US Citizen - Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Warehousing compliance, safety, attention to detail, inventory management.

The salary range for this role is 53,100 USD - 100,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
