Job description

Job Summary:
MANTECH is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Senior Information Assurance Specialist to join their team in Crane, Indiana. This role involves assisting in various aspects of defensive cyber technologies and mission assurance for Navy and Marine Corps programs, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of the warfighter.
Responsibilities:
• Identifies security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives
• Develops, tests, and operates firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virus systems and software deployment tools
• Tests and debugs programs and scripts and prepares instruction for use during network exploitation activities
• Applies knowledge of current IA policy, tactics, techniques, policy, and doctrine, and relationship to IA reporting requirements and structure
• Assists in the planning and implementation of requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
• BA/BS Degree or High School Diploma and 6 years of additional relevant experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 12+ years of relevant experience
• Holds one of the following certifications: CISSP/CISM/CISA/GCIH
• Must have a current and active TS/SCI Clearance
• Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
• Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
• Must be able to work in high noise areas.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
• Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard
Preferred:
• Master’s degree and/or Ph.D.
