What is an experiential event manager?

An Experiential Event Manager is a professional who plans, coordinates, and executes immersive events designed to create memorable, interactive experiences for attendees. Their primary goal is to engage audiences with a brand or message through hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and creative environments. They handle all aspects of event production, including logistics, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site management, ensuring that every detail aligns with the client’s objectives. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. We’re not just a fragrance company—we’re on a mission to change the way people experience scent. At Pura, we are redefining fragrance as a critical element of design, on par with color, texture, sound, lighting, and furniture. We call this Scent Design—transforming scent from an afterthought into an intentional, skillful component of every space. By blending artistry and science, Pura allows users to design their own “scentscapes” that enhance daily life and craft environments that feel as good as they smell.

Your Role at Pura:

We are looking for a motivated, high-energy Senior Manager, Influencer Marketing & Experiential to join the Pura Communications team. In partnership with the Director of Communications, this role will be responsible for building brand advocacy and driving awareness through strategic partnerships with highly engaged influencers, VIPs. The role will work cross-functionally with Pura’s internal marketing and creative teams, as well as with external agencies who impact this area of the business.

The ideal candidate is at the forefront of influencer marketing trends and has a creative and innovative approach that can elevate traditional programming. This candidate should be knowledgeable on up-and-coming influencers that can help further establish Pura as a leader and trailblazer in the premium home fragrance space. The position requires strong communications skills, an aptitude for multitasking and an overall passion for the creator space.

You will help us inspire a belief in the power of fragrance to craft and elevate memorable moments for our Owners. This is your chance to make an impact in a high-growth company that’s redefining the way people experience scent.

What You’ll Own:

  • INFLUENCER MARKETING:
    • Own end-to-end campaign execution, managing the full campaign lifecycle, from strategic briefing, creator selection, and contract negotiation to content approval, trafficking and final performance reporting
    • Refine and maintain influencer casting frameworks tied to Pura’s brand archetype, ensuring strategic alignment and visual consistency across every campaign
    • Align Pura with image-enhancing creators, while maximizing cultural relevance
    • Design and execute influencer strategies tailored to the campaign objective, whether the goal is expansive brand awareness or driving immediate conversion/revenue
    • Serve as the connection point to build strong and deep connections with agents and talent, ensuring consistent communication and high-touch support
    • Oversee our product gifting roadmap, collaborating with internal creative and production partners to develop and execute creative mailers and evergreen seeding
    • Optimize affiliate platforms (e.g., Shopmy, LTK) to identify new talent, process inbound requests, manage “opportunities” and track results to inform future strategy

    • Oversee influencer budgets, ensuring real-time spend tracking and reporting to accounting and paid media stakeholders
    • Stay at the forefront of the creator economy, proactively applying influencer marketing best practices and emerging social media trends to Pura’s brand strategy
  • EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING
    • Lead the end-to-end execution of experiential events and brand activations, managing the relationship with external agencies to guide them from conceptualization and design through to final on-site build and execution
    • Serve as the central hub for event initiatives, partnering closely with internal brand managers and creative teams to align activation goals, ensure cohesive brand storytelling and maintain rigorous creative standards
    • Architect a holistic influencer integration plan for all activations, identifying and securing the right talent to host, attend and amplify event content to drive organic social buzz and high-impact earned media
    • Drive event attendance and engagement by executing multi-channel promotional strategies; partner with Lifecycle and Social teams to leverage app, email, and social platforms, while creatively utilizing eventing platforms and influencer-led content to maximize reach
    • Manage influencer & consumer experiences, including acting as on-site liaison and point-of-contact for key stakeholders and executives
    • Define activation KPIs in collaboration with internal stakeholders, leveraging data and post-event insights to continuously refine future strategy and maximize ROI
    • Introduce both traditional and forward-thinking concepts that inspire community connection, ensuring that every activation not only looks elevated but serves as a tangible touchpoint for our target audience
