Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Audit Associate to lead engagements, develop team members, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. This role offers exposure to a variety of industries and the opportunity to grow within one of Arizona’s largest locally owned CPA and advisory firms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through fieldwork and reporting

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, providing ongoing feedback and support

  • Research and apply technical accounting and auditing guidance (GAAS, PCAOB)

  • Manage client relationships, expectations, and deliverables

  • Ensure engagements are completed in accordance with professional standards and firm quality requirements

Qualifications

  • Active CPA license or significant progress toward certification

  • 3–5 years of public accounting experience (audit focus preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of audit and accounting standards (GAAS, PCAOB)

  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines effectively
