Job Posting: Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist
Location: Cuyahoga Heights Local Schools, Ohio Position Type: Part-time (2 days per week)
Position Overview
Cuyahoga Heights Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide school-based services on a part-time basis (2 days per week) for the 2026-2027 school year. The SLP will work directly with students to support communication, language, and speech needs that impact their educational access and progress.
Responsibilities
? Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs.
? Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluation reports as needed.
? Collaborate with teachers, intervention specialists, related service providers, and families to support student success.
? Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring in compliance with IDEA and district guidelines.
? Participate in IEP meetings and student service team discussions when scheduled on working days.
? Promote functional communication skills to support student engagement in academic and social settings.
Qualifications
? Current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License required.
? Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
? Prior experience in school-based SLP services preferred.
? Strong knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and school-based service delivery models.
? Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Schedule
