Waltonen is actively seeking a Design Leader to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of Designers, Detailers and Checkers
  • Daily customer contact and presentation of technical information to groups
  • Daily use of CAD design software can be expected

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a Design Lead role in a manufacturing environment
  • Automotive, defense or aerospace industry experience is a plus
  • Familiarity as a Designer utilizing CAD software is required
  • The ability to work with and meet deadlines is essential for success in this position
  • Excellent communication skills with customers, peers and subordinates is critical
  • An innate ability to multi-task and prioritize is also essential

Preferred Qualifications:
  • NX design background
  • BIW design
  • Product design
  • Creo design background
