This position is contingent upon contract award


We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Project Manager (PM) to lead operations supporting the Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF). This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for project execution, ensuring alignment with Navy expeditionary operational, training, and readiness requirements. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a deep background in naval expeditionary warfare and a proven track record of managing defense contracts.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee the successful execution of tasks across multiple MESF objective areas, managing timelines, deliverables, and contractor personnel.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver high-level oral briefings and author comprehensive technical reports, white papers, and correspondence to engage effectively with senior MESF leadership and the broader community of interest.
  • Operational Alignment: Leverage deep Navy expeditionary experience to ensure training, readiness, and operational support align with current fleet requirements and commands.
  • Innovation Integration: Utilizing modern workflow solutions, including civilian and government-authorized Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistance tools, to optimize productivity, data analysis, and reporting.
Requirements:

Professional Experience

  • Contract Project Management: Minimum of three (3) years of Project Manager experience acting as a defense contractor within the past five (5) years.
  • MESF Domain Expertise: Minimum of three (3) years of recent Maritime Expeditionary Security Force (MESF) experience, served either as a uniformed service member or a government contractor. This experience must have occurred within the past five (5) years.
  • Core Competency: Demonstrated experience supporting at least two (2) of the following areas:
    • Learning Standards Support
    • Curriculum Development, Maintenance, and Delivery
    • Exercise Planning
    • Force Development Support
    • Echelon V/VI Training Management

Naval & Operational Background

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of Navy expeditionary relevant operational, training, and readiness experience.
  • Must have successfully served in at least one of the following leadership roles:
    • Commanding Officer (CO)
    • Officer in Charge (OIC)
    • CVN (Aircraft Carrier) Department Head
    • Senior-Level Administrator

Communication & Technical Skills

  • Proven advanced oral briefing capabilities and exceptional writing skills tailored for executive and flag-level leadership communication.
  • Demonstrated fluency in utilizing Civilian and/or Governmental Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistance platforms to streamline project management workflows.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Master’s Degree in a related management or technical field.

Security Clearance

  • Must possess an active SECRET security clearance.
