Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Ensure that all Hanwha Philly Shipyard quality and safety procedures, rules and regulations are followed and met.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve General Affairs policies, procedures, and administrative processes to support efficient business operations.
  • Manage all day-to-day General Affairs operations and administrative services to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-organized workplace.
  • Oversee office space, facilities, and workshop amenities, including workplace maintenance, office assignments, and facility improvements.
  • Plan and coordinate office expansion, workplace renovations, and facility-related projects to support the company's continued growth.
  • Manage corporate real estate activities, including office acquisition, leasing, renewal, and landlord relationships.
  • Coordinate relocation, housing, transportation, and administrative support for expatriates, assignees, and Korean production employees throughout their assignment lifecycle.
  • Manage company shuttle bus operations and transportation-related administrative services.
  • Oversee the procurement, inventory, and lifecycle management of General Affairs assets, office equipment, furniture, and administrative supplies.
  • Coordinate executive protocols, VIP visits, corporate events, and other company functions requiring administrative support.
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and service performance.
  • Coordinate with Hanwha Ocean headquarters regarding expatriate support policies, administrative standards, and General Affairs initiatives.
  • Monitor General Affairs budgets and administrative expenses while identifying opportunities for operational efficiency and cost improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide integrated administrative support and continuously improve workplace services.
  • Prepare reports, maintain administrative records, and provide operational updates to management.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is an onsite, full-time position. Standard days and hours of work vary by department, days and hours determined by department schedules.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in General Affairs, Corporate Administration, or Facilities Management
  • Experience supporting workplace operations, facility management, and administrative services in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience coordinating expatriate and assignee relocation and corporate administrative support preferred
  • Experience managing vendors, service contracts, and office operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Korean Bilingual Preferred
