Job description

Position Summary:
Technology in law firms is evolving rapidly. Success is no longer measured by whether people know how to use a particular application. Success is measured by whether attorneys and staff can integrate technology into their daily workflows to improve productivity, collaboration, client service, and business outcomes.
We're seeking someone who can understand how legal professionals work, identify opportunities to improve technology adoption, design engaging learning experiences, create scalable learning assets, and help prepare the firm for the next generation of workplace technology including AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Learning Strategy & Technology Adoption
  • Partner with attorneys, practice groups, business professionals, and IT teams to understand workflows and technology needs
  • Assist the Training Manager with learning strategies that increase adoption of firm technologies and best practices
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience, productivity, and technology utilization
  • Support change management, technology enablement, and readiness for emerging tools, including AI

Design Modern Learning Experiences
  • Design learner-centered training aligned with real-world legal workflows
  • Transform feature-focused training into workflow-driven learning experiences
  • Build blended learning programs using instructor-led training, eLearning, videos, job aids, and self-service resources
  • Measure effectiveness and improve program outcomes

Create Scalable Content
  • Modernize and maintain technology learning content in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Develop instructional materials, digital learning assets, videos, job aids, and knowledge resources
  • Create short-form, just-in-time learning content
  • Establish consistent standards for learning content and resource management

Deliver Targeted Training
  • Facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and one-on-one learning sessions as needed
  • Deliver targeted workflow training for practice groups, departments, technology rollouts, and change initiatives
  • Assist as needed conducting onboarding and technology orientation programs for new hires

Help Build the Future of Learning at the Firm
  • Contribute ideas that improve the firm's learning culture and employee experience
  • Collaborate with and mentor training team members
  • Explore innovative approaches to knowledge transfer, learning technology, AI-assisted learning, and proactive support

What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12-18 months, you will help:
  • Modernize and expand technology learning resources
  • Reduce ad hoc, one-on-one training through scalable learning solutions
  • Create workflow-based programs aligned with legal and business processes
  • Support new hire training, follow-ups, onboarding, and continuing education
  • Improve adoption of firm technologies, productivity tools, AI, and emerging solutions

Job Requirements:
Required Experience:
  • Experience designing and developing technology-focused learning programs
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Experience creating digital learning content, including videos, eLearning, and job aids
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder consultation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:
  • Law firm, legal technology, professional services, or highly regulated industry experience
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, change management, digital transformation, or productivity initiatives
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS)
  • Experience creating video content using Camtasia or similar tools
  • Familiarity with legal technologies such as NetDocuments, Litera, 3E, Intapp Open, and Intapp Time

Position Requirements:
