Job Title: Dental Lab Technician 
Department: Clinical/Operations 
Reports to: Chief Clinical Officer 
FLSA Status: Non – Exempt 
Starting at $25/hour (Full Time, 35+ hours/week)
Target Start: Flexible (Q2 2026)

Position Summary  

The Dental Lab Technician is responsible for designing, fabricating, and finishing dental prosthetics and restorations using state-of-the-art digital and traditional workflows. This role requires CAD/CAM expertise, hands-on artistry, and the ability to manage lab equipment including milling machines and 3D printers. Technicians will collaborate with providers, and patients to ensure the highest quality outcomes. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

The duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Design dental restorations using Exocad or 3Shape (crowns, bridges, implants, All-on-X). 
  • Operate and maintain milling machines and 3D printers for digital production. 
  • Fabricate dentures from impression to final insert, including repairs, relines, and re-bases. 
  • Collaborate with doctors to ensure case accuracy and patient satisfaction. 
  • Maintain quality control across all lab output. 
  • Assist in customer case communication when needed. 
  • Monitor and manage lab equipment to ensure peak performance. 
  • Support team members in lab processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. 

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • 3–5 years of dental lab experience (digital or traditional). 
  • Proficiency with Exocad or 3Shape. 
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot milling machines and sintering ovens. 
  • Familiar with Hyperdent and iCam software.  
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. 

Preferred: 

  • Implant and All-on-X experience. 
  • Prior training in dental lab technology.
