Our multi-faceted experiential design team is seeking thoughtful and innovative minds, skilled in the arts of visual communication, imaginative storytelling, and creative problem-solving to join our team as we leverage the power of design to bridge the gap between individual, brand, and the built environment to create inspiring experiences for our clients. HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Involvement in all phases of the design process from conceptual development through artwork production.
  • Participate in recommendations for concept, design, art direction, and production for a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, signage and exhibits.
  • Under direct supervision and partnership with the environmental graphics team, design a variety of two- and three-dimensional graphics, maps, print layouts for exhibits and signage.
  • With guidance, work with selected clients and participate in the interpretation and translation of their expressed needs and ideas into concepts.
  • Prepare photo visualizations and mockups of proposed signage for placement, content and/or usage.
  • Prepare camera-ready artwork for fabrication.
  • Work with vendors/fabricators.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, Architecture, or related design field required by hire date.
  • Strong background in typography and previous related student internship experience highly valued.
  • Must demonstrate skill and interest in 3-dimensional design, wayfinding, exhibition design and environments.
  • Proficiency on Macintosh in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign required, skills in AutoCAD and Sketchup a plus.
  • Strong design orientation, communication skills, ability to collaborative well and attention to detail are essential.

The salary range for this position to be filled in the San Diego office is $25.88 - $29.04 hourly. This salary range is the range we believe is the anticipated range of possible base compensation at the timing of the posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for the position. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses. We offer a full benefit package including medical, dental and vision coverage and flexible spending account options and voluntary insurances. We have paid time off, flex-time schedules, remote work options and a 401k plan and employee perk programs.
