Purpose of Position
Supervises and leads therapeutic exercise sessions for participants. Records exercise responses and adverse reactions or clinical problems. Participates in education and behavior modification.
Description
  1. Records blood pressures, observes patient's condition, observes monitor for indications of positive tests or other complications.
  2. Performs pulse oximetry recognizing variation in methods and testing parameters required for various age groups.
  3. Responds to cardiac arrests.
  4. Develops proficiency in operating exercise testing system.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science.
  • Certified in BLS.
  • Previous experience in adult fitness or cardiac rehabilitation preferred.
