Join our team and make a difference at a great community based hospital, Montefiore New Rochelle. The hospital is part of the Montefiore Health System, a premier academic health system serving more than 3 million people living in the New York City region and Hudson Valley.
We have a fantastic opportunity for Per-Diem Exercise Physiologists to join our Cardiac Rehab team.
Position Summary:
Perform accurate assessments for patients with cardiovascular disease including exercise prescriptions, EKG telemetry interpretations, patient education and safe exercise floor supervision.
Job Duties Include:
  • Assess patients' fitness and health
  • Design exercise programs to meet patient goals by increasing their cardiovascular fitness
  • Maintain daily quality control for all Cardiac Rehab equipment
  • Prepare medical necessity reports
Education and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science / Physiology required. Masters Degree preferred.
  • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required and ultimate complete of ACLS certification
  • ACSM Certification a plus
  • Prior experience in a similar role, new graduates will be considered
  • Excellent communication skills.
