Job description

IT Liaison & Project Manager

Williamsburg, NY (On-site, Full time)

100 - 130k

Yiddish Speaking Preferred

This role sits at the center of business operations and technology execution.

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-driven IT Liaison & Project Manager to serve as the primary bridge between executive leadership, internal teams, and an external IT provider. This individual ensures that all technical issues, requests, and projects are clearly documented, properly prioritized, and driven through resolution without delay.

This is not a hands-on infrastructure role. It is a coordination, escalation, and accountability role focused on communication clarity, follow-through, and operational continuity.

About the Role

You will act as the single point of contact for all IT-related matters. You will ensure issues do not stall, projects remain visible, and technical communication is translated clearly for non-technical stakeholders.

You must be comfortable operating between executives and technical teams, escalating when needed, and enforcing accountability across vendors and departments.

This role requires strong judgment, composure under pressure, and disciplined documentation.

What You’ll Own

• Serve as the primary liaison between executive leadership, internal staff, and the external IT provider
• Coordinate all IT issues, requests, upgrades, and project initiatives
• Track tickets from creation through resolution, ensuring visibility and follow-up
• Escalate production-impacting or business-critical issues quickly
• Maintain structured documentation within ticketing and tracking systems
• Ensure complete and accurate handoff of business and technical requirements
• Coordinate IT projects, timelines, and deliverables
• Monitor project status and communicate risks or delays to leadership
• Support workflow approvals, prioritization, and change management
• Ensure accountability across all open items
• Identify recurring issues and surface trends
• Maintain strong boundaries between user support and technical escalation

Must-Haves

• Experience in IT coordination, IT support oversight, or IT project management
• Strong understanding of business IT systems and workflows
• Experience working with external IT vendors or managed service providers
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and system access management
• Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT documentation tools
• Exposure to project budgeting or vendor cost tracking

What Success Looks Like

First 90 Days
• Establish visibility into all active IT tickets and projects
• Implement clear tracking and escalation processes
• Improve communication flow between internal teams and IT vendor
• Reduce ambiguity around ownership and next steps

First 6 Months
• Shorten resolution time for critical IT issues
• Improve project completion reliability
• Reduce recurring system breakdowns through better coordination
• Build a structured, accountable IT workflow across departments

This role requires professional judgment, leadership presence, and the ability to operate calmly in high-pressure situations. You must be self-motivated and capable of working independently while collaborating across teams.

If you are a structured operator who takes ownership of communication, documentation, and project execution, we want to hear from you.
