Job description

Overview:

Workforce Planning Assistants will assist in the centralized scheduling process for Great Escape park & lodge employees. They're responsible for the scheduling functions as well as generating volume forecasts, projecting staffing levels, and determining optimal schedule patterns for operating divisions.

You will work directly with park management from all divisions, as well as with associates directly to ensure that work schedules meet various business demands, as well as the needs of seasonal staff.


Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all scheduling activities within the scheduling platform (Optim8), including the development, management, and longterm maintenance of departmental schedules.
  • Partner with park leadership to design, adjust, and optimize schedules that ensure adequate staffing coverage and exceptional service delivery across all operational areas.
  • Analyze staffing plans to identify potential coverage gaps and provide strategic recommendations to department management and recruiting teams.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute key scheduling and staffing documents, including openshift reports, workforce summaries, headcount templates, and associate data.
  • Provide daily leadership and operational reports for the central scheduling office, ensuring efficient workflow and service responsiveness.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for associates, addressing and resolving scheduling questions, conflicts, and concerns.
  • Update and modify park schedules in response to staffing changes, labor shortages, or business interruptions to maintain operational continuity.
  • Delivers exceptional guest service in alignment with Six Flags standards, proactively engaging with guests, responding to inquiries, and providing clear and helpful directions.
  • Ensures a clean, safe, and orderly work environment by adhering to all Six Flags safety protocols and promptly reporting any unsafe, unusual, or noncompliant conditions to leadership.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Payrate: $17.00/hr.


Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data table management; experience with PivotTables is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Maintains reliable and flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support business demands and operational needs.
