Honda, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Aberdeen is currently seeking a General Manager to join their team at Holman!
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plans, develops and implements and ensures compliance with organization policies and goals
  • Provides counsel and direction to the activities of sales, service, parts, body shop, F&I, and administration to affect operational efficiency and economy
  • Directs and coordinates promotion of services performed to develop new markets, increase share of market, and obtain competitive position in industry
  • Analyzes department budgets to identify areas in which profit opportunities can be maximized or cost can be minimized and operating budget can be achieved
  • Confers with administrative and managerial personnel and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required
  • Through communication, oversight and direction works to ensure employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and return on investment
  • Promotes the recruitment and development of dealership managers and non-management employees
  • Examines pay practices and develops pay plan models to achieve budgetary goals
  • Liaison with the manufacturer; works with factory representative to achieve factory objectives.
  • Provide strategic planning and the execution thereof to meet long term dealership goals.
  • Ensure all HR topics are monitored and appropriately managed along with the necessary documentation.
  • Recruiting and developing future leaders
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Education and/or Training:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or University; and 8+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relevant Work Experience:
  • 6+ years of dealership experience at a department manager level, or similar related work; knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodologies of department operations to ensure the profitability of the dealership.
