Job description

Senior Business Development Manager – Midstream Stabilization Solutions

 

Position Summary

Pioneer Energy is seeking an experienced sales professional to support growth of the company’s modular hydrocarbon processing and stabilization solutions across the oil and gas midstream sector.

This position reports directly to the VP of Business Development and focuses on identifying, developing, and advancing opportunities in crude and NGL stabilization and blending.

The ideal candidate possesses deep familiarity with midstream operations, crude and gas processing, crude handling infrastructure, and hydrocarbon processing systems, along with an established network of industry relationships.

This is a consultative, technically sophisticated sales role requiring the ability to engage stakeholders at the executive, operations, engineering, and commercial levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with midstream operators, gas processors, EPC firms, blending facilities, loading terminals and engineering organizations
  • Identify brownfield facility opportunities involving stabilization, vapor pressure management, blending, hydrocarbon recovery, and throughput optimization
  • Work collaboratively with Pioneer engineering and technical teams to develop customer solutions
  • Lead technical and commercial discussions with customer engineering and operations personnel
  • Identify operational pain points and position Pioneer’s modular technologies as value-enhancing solutions
  • Support development of project economics and customer value propositions
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from prospecting through commercial negotiation
  • Coordinate customer site visits, technical reviews, and commercial presentations
  • Represent Pioneer Energy at industry conferences, trade events, and customer meetings
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting

 

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial experience in midstream oil and gas, hydrocarbon processing, or related energy infrastructure sectors
  • Demonstrated business development or technical sales experience
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Hydrocarbons pricing and marketing
    • Gas processing
    • Crude stabilization
    • Blending strategies
    • Compression and/or hydrocarbon processing equipment
    • Brownfield facility operations
  • Fluent in crude, NGLs and gas assay and composition information
  • Fluent in crude, NGLs and gas pricing and trading
  • Existing industry relationships within midstream operations and eng. organizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel frequently
