JOB SUMMARY:

The Sales Executive - SMB drives revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships, and expanding the company's presence within the healthcare and outpatient care market. This role focuses on prospecting, lead qualification, and strategic outreach to prospective clients, broker/consultant firms and key partners while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet sales targets and drive business growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Prospect and engage small-to-mid-sized employers, brokers, and benefit consultants
  • Educate employers on the Direct Primary Care model and its financial and employee health benefits
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings
  • Respond to inbound employer inquiries and marketing-generated leads
  • Qualify employer prospects based on size, workforce needs, and benefits strategy
  • Schedule and support employer presentations and discovery meetings
  • Assist with proposal development, pricing discussions, and employer onboarding
  • Coordinate with clinical, operations, and implementation teams to ensure smooth launches
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and employer data in CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed activity, pipeline, and enrollment targets
  • Participate in local employer events, chamber meetings, and benefits fairs as needed
  • Work opportunities from beginning phase all the way through to contract signature


Other Duties:

  • Supports the development of strategic sales initiatives and process improvements.
  • Provides regular feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform business strategy.
  • Assists in the preparation of sales reports, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.


Requirements

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a keen understanding of market research and competitive analysis.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly outpatient care, and its regulatory environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.


EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
  • Sales or industry-specific certifications are a plus.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1-5 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the healthcare or outpatient care industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing lasting client relationships.
