Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • 3 years of experience in related field

  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses

  • Must be able to work in a team environment

  • Presentation skills mandatory

  • Proficient use of applicable technology

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing within all levels of an organization, both internally and externally

  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

  • Proficient computer ability relative to the constructing of complex formulas and macros

Within CBIZ Valuation Group, the national Tangible Asset Practice delivers property insurance and capital asset data collection and valuation services to a broad and diverse client base. The Senior Consultant plays a meaningful role in helping clients address complex valuation needs by applying technical expertise, sound professional judgment, and analytical insight to support informed decision-making, deliver high-quality client service, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Review consultant work product, provide technical guidance, and support quality control across engagement deliverables
  • Manage all phases of assigned engagements, including planning, execution, coordination of resources, and timely delivery of client work product
  • Apply independent judgment and advanced analytical skills to evaluate data, develop conclusions, and deliver practical solutions to internal and external clients
  • Contribute to achievement of engagement and practice revenue objectives through effective execution, client service, and identification of additional service opportunities
  • Exercise discretion in managing engagement scope, priorities, and budget parameters while meeting quality standards and deadlines
  • Participate in business development and relationship-building activities, including professional networking and cultivation of referral and cross-serving opportunities
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tangible asset valuation, appraisals, fixed asset inventory, and property data collection within a client service or consulting environment is preferred
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel, up to 70% based on client engagement and business needs
