Are you the person others rely on to keep priorities organized, solve problems before they arise, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes?
Xtreme Solutions is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a senior Department of State leader in a high-visibility environment where your organization, judgment, and professionalism will directly contribute to critical government operations.
This is more than a traditional administrative role. You'll serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, managing complex schedules, coordinating domestic and international travel, supporting strategic initiatives, and acting as a key liaison between senior leaders and stakeholders.

What You'll Do
Partner with Executive Leadership • Manage complex executive calendars and daily priorities • Coordinate meetings, briefings, conferences, and special events • Prepare background materials and executive-level correspondence • Ensure leadership remains informed, prepared, and focused on mission objectives
Coordinate Travel & Logistics • Arrange domestic and international travel itineraries • Coordinate flights, lodging, transportation, and travel documentation • Process travel authorizations and vouchers using government systems • Manage last-minute changes and travel contingencies
Serve as a Strategic Point of Contact • Act as the liaison between executive leadership, government agencies, and external partners • Screen and prioritize communications • Handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
Keep Operations Running Smoothly • Track timekeeping and attendance records • Maintain administrative processes and reporting requirements • Support office operations and workflow management • Conduct research and prepare executive briefing materials
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications • Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance • Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; OR • Four years of experience supporting senior leaders in an executive or administrative capacity • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint) • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
You'll Stand Out If You Have • Experience supporting government executives, military leaders, or senior management teams • Strong project coordination skills • Experience managing complex travel arrangements • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
