OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the development, coordination, and daily management of supplier initiatives, workstreams and tasks. Proactively identifies areas of opportunities to improve and enhance current Supplier Ways of Working and creates strategies to implement more efficient processes. Develop repeatable solutions and leading practices that can be offered to various strategic partners to minimize duplication of efforts across various functions and projects. Establish and manage key synergy workstreams to enhance the collaboration between our Supplier partners and SGWS Supply Chain.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as a liaison between the departments within and outside the supply chain organization; will work cross-functionally to develop strategic planning with a holistic approach to future business needs.
  • Support a long-term vision of supply chain transformation through effective implementation of streamlined business processes.
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal customers.
  • Optimize existing processes and resources with clear goals and benchmarks of shared improvement, development, and management of sound business practices and efficient processes.
  • Create efficiency and agility throughout the extended Supply Chain by brainstorming, creating, and executing improved ways of working and/or policies to support Southern Glazer’s suppliers.
  • Assist Supply Chain Executives with timely, accurate, pertinent information as well as aid in monitoring, evaluating, and improving performance and related SCM key performance metrics.
  • Support supplier data integration programs.
  • Facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and reporting with appropriate sponsors using tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau to facilitate the sharing of information.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative Inventory, Forecast, Sales, Logistics, and Financial data.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects while supporting business objectives and operational timelines.
  • Apply project management and strong organizational skills to balance competing priorities and maintain consistent workflow.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with suppliers and internal partners to support alignment and issue resolution.
  • Identify challenges, analyze situations, and develop solution‑oriented recommendations to improve outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing new ways of working and efficiency‑focused processes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain functions or related job.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Strong Public Speaking skills to lead and facilitate meetings and presentations.
  • Interact directly with various Supply Chain departments and leadership on a regular basis.
  • Expert knowledge in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Green belt certification, including project completion preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine.
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include occasional to rare amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 48lbs.
