The facility is designed to become a premier destination for youth and adult sports, recreation, fitness, dining, and family entertainment while serving as a gathering place for the local community.

Position Summary
The Expo is the final coordinator of every meal, ensuring food is prepared, presented, and delivered exactly as intended.
This position coordinates the flow of food from the kitchen to the guest while protecting food quality, accuracy, timing, and presentation. The Expo owns the pace of the kitchen by communicating effectively with cooks, servers, bartenders, and food runners, ensuring every guest receives an exceptional dining experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the guest while protecting food quality, timing, accuracy, and presentation.
  • Verify plate presentation, garnishes, sauces, temperature, allergies, modifications, portion consistency, correct sides, and clean plate presentation before food leaves the kitchen.
  • Own ticket flow by calling tickets, prioritizing orders, coordinating course timing, releasing complete tables together, and adjusting service flow as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with cooks, food runners, servers, bartenders, and leadership throughout service.
  • Monitor kitchen stations, identify operational needs, and provide assistance wherever needed to maintain efficient service.
  • Prioritize remakes and communicate guest concerns immediately while coordinating with the kitchen, server, and food runner.
  • Assist with food running, plating desserts, prep work, and line support when business demands.
  • Maintain the expo window, garnish station, heat lamps, sauce station, ticket organization, plate presentation supplies, and to-go order verification.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready expo area throughout each shift.
  • Complete opening, closing, cleaning, and additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Positive attitude with a passion for teamwork and hospitality.
  • Ability to obtain TAM and Food service certifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen expo experience.
  • Knowledge of food safety, plating standards, and kitchen operations.
  • Experience coordinating multiple tickets during high-volume service.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and work safely in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance while working under pressure.
